Frantzén Group expands the Astoria universe with Beach Club Astoria, opening summer 2026 in Marbella.
The Frantzén Group, led by acclaimed Swedish chef Björn Frantzén, will introduce Beach Club Astoria in Marbella, opening in summer 2026. The new destination marks the next evolution of the Astoria concept, bringing its vibrant hospitality and social energy to the Mediterranean coastline.
Beach Club Astoria is conceived as a natural extension of Brasserie Astoria, translating the spirit of the restaurant into a sun-driven, seaside setting where food, music, and social life unfold throughout the day.
Designed around the rhythm of coastal living, Beach Club Astoria moves seamlessly from relaxed lunches to lively afternoons and vibrant evenings by the sea. The atmosphere balances relaxed elegance with a confident, international energy, where intuitive service meets a playful and stylish setting.
At the heart of the experience is food designed for sharing and long moments at the table. An outdoor open-fire grill serves grilled meats, fish, and vegetables with bold, smoky flavors, while the menu also features a large selection of crudo and raw dishes inspired by coastal cuisines from around the world. Comfort food classics such as burgers and pizzas complement the offering, creating a menu that evolves naturally throughout the day.
The bar plays a central role in the experience. An ambitious cocktail program, spritzes, champagne, magnums, rosé, and ice-cold beers are curated for effortless day drinking that transitions naturally into sunset and evening celebrations. Music and DJs form an essential part of the atmosphere, shaping the energy as the day progresses.
