Björn Frantzén is the only chef in the world with three Michelin three-star restaurants
Swedish chef Björn Frantzén has achieved a historic milestone, becoming the only chef in the world currently operating three Michelin three-star restaurants simultaneously.

This groundbreaking achievement was confirmed tonight at the Michelin Guide ceremony in Dubai, where Frantzén Group’s restaurant, FZN, was awarded the guide’s highest honor: three Michelin stars. The recognition comes just months after FZN opened in October 2024, rapidly bringing the restaurant into the ranks of the world’s finest dining destinations — and making it the first-ever restaurant in the UAE to receive three stars.
Björn Frantzén now stands in a league of his own in the culinary world. With Frantzén in Stockholm (three stars since 2018), Zén in Singapore (three stars since 2021), and now FZN in Dubai, he is the only chef in the world to hold this unique trio of Michelin three-star restaurants.
Currently, only 152 restaurants worldwide hold three Michelin stars. The Frantzén Group’s triple achievement places it at the pinnacle of global fine dining, with a presence spanning Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
“This recognition is an incredible honor, not just for me, but for my entire team,” said Björn Frantzén. “Receiving three Michelin stars for FZN in Dubai is a proud moment for us and reflects the hard work and creativity of everyone involved.”
